Japan holds a special place in the heart of skiers who will immediately think of those stunning sequences in the ski movies where the riders float effortlessly through clouds of overhead powder. While we probably all have a skiing trip to Japan on our must do list, not many of us have been and I for one don’t really know what such a trip would be like or how I should go about organising it to make sure it really is the ski trip of a life time. Last month a group of friends made that trip and came back with amazing stories and photos and so I thought I would sit down for a chat with the trip organiser Bruce Goodlad from the Mountain Adventure Company to really get to grips with what skiing in Japan is all about.
